How does "Fashion Trends" impact "Character Development" with Boys and Girls?

Boys, are less likely to take notice of the fashion style. But, more likely to take notice of mixed matched clothes or the funny appearance of a character.

Girls, always take notice of the bright colorful clothing styles, accessories, and hair styles. Also, tend to mirror the latest fashion trends and more likely to connect with character.

Keep in mind the "Age of the Reader" can impact how they relate to the "Character's Development".

There's several additional ways Boys and Girls can view a character.

As you look at the Illustration of the Girl, what age of readers are more likely to relate to this character?
