Day 60 - Happy New Year! My First Illustration for 2012!

The New Year brings about SEVERAL CHANGES for!

A New Website, New Releases of Books and E-book,  Author Interviews, Book Reviews, Free Coloring Books, Skype Author Visits, Book Trailers and so much more.

Illustrator Dawn Phillips would like to thank everyone who has followed her Blog Tour during 2011.  Also, welcomes all of her "New Followers" for 2012, as you join "Her New Quest".

There has been several requests to view the following illustration finished in it's full glory.

It's the Final Illustration for the book, "I Go To Swimming Lessons" by Dana Evans.

You'll notice how the parents and children are bolder. Does it grab your attention? Then Illustrator Dawn Phillips has accomplished her technique of utilizing blended pastels of lighter color tones for  softness of the surrounding space between the children and parents.

This portion of the story reflects on how the parents would watch the children learning to swim and providing their support with smiles. You can say they're "Proud Moms and Papas".
